DTAG to Meet In September 2007
For those that like to plan ahead, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) published an announcement in today's Federal Register that the Defense Trade Advisory Group (DTAG) will meet from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on September 20, 2007 at the State Department in Washington, DC.
In addition, DDTC recently posted an announcement on its website that a "Federal Register notice will be published in late summer welcoming the submittal of applications for membership in the DTAG."
The DTAG, which meets once or twice per year, was established in 1992 and is is intended to provide the State Department's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs with a formal channel for consultation with U.S. private sector defense exporters and defense trade specialists on issues involving the export of defense articles and services.
