Senate Confirms Top Export Control Posts

On Friday, June 27, the Senate unanimously confirmed Christopher Wall to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration. As a result, Mr. Wall will soon be part of the Bureau of Industry and Security's senior management team.

On the same day, the Senate confirmed former Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt to serve as Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs. The Directorate of Defense Trade Controls is part of the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs.
