OFAC Publishes Amended Burmese Sanctions Regulations

The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has amended and reissued the Burmese Sanctions Regulations in their entirety to implement Executive Order 13310 issued on July 28, 2003, which imposed new sanctions on Burma (Myanmar). OFAC has also updated its brochure describing the various U.S. sanctions imposed on Burma (in PDF format).
