Senators Vow to Reform Military Export Controls
Reuters reports that Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Hillary Clinton (D-NY) have vowed to work with the Bush Administration to reduce the the thousands of military-related items subject to export controls. The story quotes Senator Graham as saying that he intends to "get all the pertinent players from the House, Senate and administration in one room" to agree on how to ease export controls on defense articles. Clinton said "she hoped such a session could occur this year."
