ITC Adds Features to DataWeb System

The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has recently added several new features to the Interactive Tariff and Trade DataWeb, the ITC's Internet-based system that contains tariff and trade information, including U.S. import and export statistics.

Not only has the DataWeb been updated to include the 2004-Supplement 1 to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S. (HTSUS), the system now contains a feature that permits users to look up what future U.S. tariffs will be as a result of scheduled tariff reductions pursuant to multilateral and bilateral free trade agreements.

The USITC Interactive Tariff and Trade DataWeb can be accessed at the following site: http://dataweb.usitc.gov.
