Senate Passes U.S.-Australia Free Trade Agreement Legislation

The U.S. Senate yesterday voted 80-16 to approve H.R. 4759, the United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act. Yesterday's vote came only one day after the House of Representatives approved the same legislation by an overwhelming margin. President Bush is expected to sign the legislation in the near future.
