DDTC Launches D-Trade Online Newsletter
The State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) has issued the first edition of its new online D-Trade newsletter called "D-Trade Delivered." The newsletter describes forthcoming changes to D-Trade and a link describing future form enhancements. The newsletter notes that in 2005 DDTC is expected to offer an online registration and payment service as well as the electronic issuance of licenses for applications submitted via D-Trade. Finally, the newsletter notes that more than 2,000 applications have been submitted to date via D-Trade by more than 150 companies.
